Antique 1940’s / World War II era Dersaisme French military army navy brass binoculars / field glasses, wrapped in black leather. Made in Paris France.

Adolphe and Edouard Deraisme were making field glasses by the 1890s and prism binoculars by 1906. An advertisement from 1902 stated the firm specialized in instruments for military use, and many of its models had been adopted by the principal European armies. The firm was still in business in the 1950s.
