Description
This exquisite piece is a genuine Meissen porcelain oval serving platter hand-painted in the globally renowned "Blue Onion" (Zwiebelmuster) pattern. Originally formulated by Meissen in 1731, this design features elements inspired by East Asian motifs—including stylized peaches, pomegranates, bamboo shoots, and delicate chrysanthemum blossoms. This elongated oval form with a softly scalloped rim is typically designated as a fish platter or heavy roast serving dish.
