Manufactured by the Knox-Hutchins Furniture Company—a historic American manufacturer that operated out of Paoli, Indiana, and was highly regarded during the early 20th century for crafting sturdy, Early American and Revival-style bedroom suites—the piece reflects the reliable craftsmanship of the Depression era. The main cabinet body is supported by slender, turned legs equipped with vintage metal casters and features a decorative scalloped apron running along the bottom edge. Storage is divided into a pair of smaller top drawers—trimmed with that striking burled veneer, delicate beaded borders, and a central geometric carved accent—above two full-width lower drawers finished with round wooden pull knobs. Rising from the top surface is an arched, swivel dressing mirror secured by a pair of tall, heavily turned and fluted wooden column supports, adding an impressive and stately vertical presence to the piece.
