Description
Late 19th to early 20th century English Victorian / Edwardian silver revolving / rotating dome top serving / chafing / warming food dish. Oval, egg shaped dome shaped dish with four C scroll legs, two side handles, and camel bone handle. To one side is a locking pin on a chain and a cut out for a serving utensil. Dome is etched with a floral design. Opens to reveal a removable inner dish and pierced tray. Unidentified maker - stamped JW&? EP GS in blocks with clipped corners. Numbered by hand 3033 / 3206.
