Late 19th Century Diebold Safe & Lock Company Cast Iron Floor Safe. Features a heavy black cast iron frame with gold trim. The safe has a working combo lock and opens to a gold trimmed interior with additional valance door that opens to a wood partitioned interior for valuables. The safe is marked Diebold Safe & Lock Co along the top as well as Canton Ohio where it was manufactured. The bottom right has an addres of 372 Broadway New York which is presumably where it was sent or used. The safe is on wheels for ease of movement. Serial Number 3304169216

Good Overall; Original patina. Marking, distressing and staining from use. The combo lock is fully functional. The smaller interior locking door was drilled out at some point.
