Mid to early 20th century oil on cavas painting depicting a cityscape view of Schloss Euerburg - a Reanaissance era castle in Obereuerheim, Germany. Signed I. Krohm in lower right. Antique carved wood frame with beveled beaded trim and round rosette corners.

"Euerburg Castle is a privately owned Renaissance castle complex in the village of Obereuerheim, municipality of Grettstadt in the district of Schweinfurt in Lower Franconia, Germany. Euerburg Castle was built between 1571 and 1591 by Georg Christoph von Bibra and expanded in 1595/96. It is located on a hill dominating the village, has three wings and three round towers. Above the side gate of the entrance, there is a coat of arms of the Bibra family with the inscription: "Heinrich von Bibra 1596". Since 1880, the castle has been privately owned by the von Heßberg family, whose ancestral seat is in Thuringia, whose castle there was demolished after the Second World War and is still inhabited by descendants of the family today. Once a year, a music serenade takes place in the castle. Outside of this event, the castle cannot be visited." (Source: Wikipedia)
