Description

Rare antique turn of the century bronze sculpture of Napoleon Bonaparte dressed for his campaign against Russia in the winter of 1812 after the siege of Moscow. The figure is bronze with a carved face and stands on a rough hewn marble plinth in which is embedded a wagon wheel and broken cannon, carved with the year of Napoleons’s invasion – 1812. Made circa 1900.
