Vintage Yossi Swed Master wine bottle cork in pomegranate form, limited edition of 500. Designed to be opened to reveal the phrase Chag Sameach (Happy festival or holidays), a greeting used for Sukkot, Shavu'ot and Passover. The 613 seeds of the pomegranate signify the 613 mitzvot. This motif symbolizeds the ""Malei Karimon"" (filled with knowledge). To be used during holidays or special events this was specially commissioned in 1994. Stamped with Israeli silver marks, 925 and numbered.

Provenance : Jerome Schottenstein Estate, Columbus Ohio. Jerome was was an American entrepreneur and philanthropist, co-founder of Schottenstein Stores Corp. The Schottenstein family were Lithuanian immigrants who began an extensive business empire in the late 19th Century.
