Description
Lot of five antique Liberty head quarters. Obverse: the head of Liberty, facing right, wearing an olive wreath, surrounded by a border of stars; the words “In God We Trust” centered on the top edge and the year at the bottom edge. Reverse: blad eagle with wings outstretched, facing left, with 13 stars above its head, a ribbon in its beak, a striped shield on its chest, and an olive branch and bundle of arrows in each of its respective talons; the words “United States of America” and “Quarter Dollar” flanked by two dots around the outside edge. Years included: 1898, 1899, 1908 and 1916.
