Circa 1920s dining table & leaves by Rockford Superior Furniture Co. Made from quartersawn oak with a round table top, turned legs and serpentine stretchers connecting the feet. The table has two leafs for extensions and metal casters for ease of movement. Rockford Superior was based out of Rockford, Illinois and specialized in high grade furniture that was wholesaled to furniture and department stores for resale. This particular piece was purchased from the May Company in Cleveland, Ohio. May Company was a large department store that opened in 1914.
