Signed Oil on Board. Surrealist landscape with vast colors and detail. Alexander Pavlov studied and graduated from the Ivanovo art school (1966-1970), studying painting in the class of I.Kalashnikov, student of the artist A. Osmerkin. In 1970 his works were given the Diploma at the International art student exhibition in Kazan. From 1974 to 1977 he was external student in the Academy of Arts in Leningrad, studying with the best masters of painting.
A wood engraver and bookplate designer. Anatoly was born in Moscow, and commissionedworks for notables such as the Duke of Edinburgh and Pope John Paul II.
