Description
Pair of Vintage Bombay Company Cherry Finish Glass-Door Bookcases. This exceptional, matching pair of vintage display bookcases by The Bombay Company (copyright 1996) offers an elegant and stately storage solution. Crafted with a rich, warm cherry finish over durable woodwork, each cabinet is designed in a functional two-piece stackable hutch layout. The upper sections feature two large glass-panel doors that open to adjustable wood shelves, ideal for a library collection or fine display. The lower bases provide hidden storage behind two matching solid wood cabinet doors, also containing adjustable shelving. Both units are outfitted with ornate, round antiqued brass door knobs featuring an embossed classic monogram scroll. The back panel of the lower unit is pre-drilled with a finished grommet hole for clean media wire management, allowing these pieces to double beautifully as electronic or office storage
