Vintage Jingdezhen Chinese Cobalt Blue White Porcelain Plum Blossom Bud Vase 4"

Description

Vintage porcelain cabinet vase features a classic globular body with a tall, slender neck and a flared rim, beautifully decorated in a striking cobalt blue and white color palette.

The exterior showcases a stylized white plum blossom (Prunus) motif, where the delicate floral petals are resisted or reserved in white against a deep, multi-shaded cobalt blue wash background that mimics the traditional Chinese "cracked ice" or washed porcelain aesthetic.

along the bottom is a blue four-character mark within a double square on the recessed base, reading "景德镇制" (Jingdezhen Zhi), which translates to "Made in Jingdezhen," identifying it as a 20th-century production from China's historic porcelain capital.
