Antique 19th Century French Copper Nesting Pans Skillet Set Brass Ring Hangers

Description

Graduated set of three (3) Antique French Copper Nesting Pans. Dating back to the 19th century, these substantial, round, straight-sided skillets or tarte tatin pans are beautifully handcrafted with a heavy hand-hammered copper construction.

Each pan is fitted with a thick, heavy-gauge cast brass suspension ring secured by prominent hand-hammered copper plates and double rivets. The copper bodies display a magnificent, unpolished warm fire-patina on the exterior with natural variations, while the interiors retain their original, heavily aged and weathered historic tin lining with beautiful hints of verdigris oxidation around the seams. This nesting set looks incredible displayed together on a copper pot rack or hung symmetrically as a trio on a rustic kitchen wall.
