Description
Mid Century Japanese Satsuma Style Porcelain Table Lamp. The lamp features a heavily decorated baluster-shaped ceramic urn body beautifully mounted on a tiered, openwork carved wooden base.
The artwork features a meticulously hand-painted Lohan / Arhat (Buddhist Immortal) figure rendered with rich gold, green, and deep red enamels. The background showcases a textured stippling effect and raised relief details typical of traditional Moriage pottery, giving the piece an impressive tactile and visual presence.
