Description

This antique American Federal or Sheraton-style side / end table or nightstand is crafted from solid mahogany with a rich, dark reddish-brown finish, dating back to the early 1800s, Massachusetts. The square tabletop is designed with softly rounded, extended corners that mirror the structural columns below. Its storage consists of two stacked, full-width hand dovetailed drawers fitted with simple, bright brass mushroom-style pull knobs. The most defining feature of this period piece is its striking, intricately crafted legs, which feature tight ring turnings along the upper section before tapering down into slender, vertically reeded columns that terminate in delicate arrow feet.
