A beautiful matching pair of vintage traditional open-arm accent chairs. Featuring a timeless Federal / Colonial Revival silhouette, these chairs boast deep navy blue upholstery accented with a subtle pink/red geometric dot pattern with tufted back and seat. Made from mahogany with square tapered and fluted legs leading to spade feet. Legs are connected by an H Stretcher.
These chairs come from Merchants National Bank & Trust Co. Originally opened in Fargo, ND in 1929. The company restructured in a merger in Indianapolis in the 1970s and remained open until the 1990s. Each chair bears a metal tag with the bank's name and a serial number mounted along a leg.
