This antique porcelain cabinet plate features a meticulously hand-painted floral arrangement of vibrant pink and white cabbage roses bundled together with detailed green foliage, beautifully framed on a soft, blended gradient background transitioning through shades of cream, lavender, rich turquoise, and a warm terracotta-orange accent on the bottom right. The organic, wavy contour of the plate's rim is adorned with a delicate, gilded gold border and subtle, scalloped relief-molded patterns, capturing the elegance of late Victorian or early Art Nouveau artistry. Signed "Le Franc" by the decorating artist in script on the lower-right side of the artwork, the reverse of the dish reveals a clean white underside with a defined foot ring. Stamped in the center is a green underglaze factory backstamp reading "J. P. / L. / FRANCE" arranged vertically, identifying the underlying porcelain blank as an authentic production of the renowned Jean Pouyat Limoges factory in France, manufactured between 1891 and 1932. Spelled out below the maker's hallmark is the scripted designation "Hand painted," confirming that while the fine porcelain body was crafted at the Pouyat factory, the romantic floral vignette and gilding were finished by hand, either within the company's designated studios or by an independent regional porcelain painter.
