Vintage Impressionist Floral Oil Painting White Roses in Basket Framed 41"

Description

lovely vintage mid-century impressionist oil on canvas painting beautifully captures a large floral arrangement nestled inside a traditional woven basket. The bouquet features heavy, textured impasto brushstrokes forming large white roses or peonies at the center, surrounded by an abundance of smaller yellow wildflowers, soft green leaves, and delicate light blue accent sprigs that branch outward. The composition sits against a soft, blended background transitioning from warm ochre and tan tones at the bottom to airy shades of turquoise, soft blue, and hints of lavender toward the top. A few white petals have gently fallen onto the flat surface below the basket, adding a natural, serene touch to the scene. The back of the piece reveals a clean, professionally papered dust cover complete with a sturdy hanging wire attached to the wooden frame. The artwork is housed within a wide, classic gilded wooden frame featuring a light-colored inner fabric liner trim, making it a perfect decorative statement piece for traditional, cottagecore, or vintage-inspired spaces.
