Rare antique 1921 Art Deco silver plate cocktail shaker in the form of a golf bag, designed by George Berry for the Derby / International Silver Co. This design was the first novelty cocktail shaker ever made. The base of the shaker has a cylindrical shape with a canvas textured ground and vertical stitching resembling that of leather strips. The handle is in the form of a leather strap terminating in an applied pouch, and the lid includes a golf ball form finial with cork stopper.
