Antique Victorian record console / bookcase / book shelf by The Udell Works Company of Indianapolis Indiana. Made of walnut featuring rectangular form with medallion accented cabinet doors supported by scrolled wishbone shaped legs connected by pierced stretcher.

Udell Works was a prominent Indianapolis manufacturer known for furniture and church fixtures, particularly recognized for their patent folding desks, cabinets, and hall stands during the late 19th and early 20th centuries. 2

Condition

Structurally solid, wear and distressing from age and use, finish loss / scuffing, ring, alligatoring to finish, holes cut in back for stereo equipment, some staining, edge wear, break to inteior middle support.
