Modeled on French chairs of the 1930s and '40s, this club chair's handsome silhouette is highlighted by brass nailhead trim. Crisp angles are tempered by plush padding and gently sloped arms that scoop just slightly at the front.
Frame handcrafted of kiln-dried solid hardwood, reinforced joinery with mortise-and-tenon construction, 8-way hand-tied spring suspension, and tapered square solid oak legs.
The seat cushion is padded with a down-feather fill (down and feather wrapped around a resilient foam core), while the coordinating back is all down and feathers. The seat cushion is backed in fabric that allows the leather to breathe.
Edged with hand-hammered antique brass nailhead trim.
