Description
Exceptional Baker Furniture Company flip-top server, circa 1980s. Inspired by English Regency, Neoclassical, and French Empire styling. A rectangular form made from mahogany with flame (crotch) mahogany door fronts and magnificent inlay. Features acanthus carved and fluted gilt and ebonized columns along the front over ribbed bun feet. The top flips open to reveal a Formica top perfect for serving. Lower cabinet opens to a dovetailed felt-lined drawer over two lower shelves. An eye-catcher for any dining room, bar, or library. Baker paper tag and metal plate along the left interior side of the drawer.
