Antique 1930's Remington Rand Model 5 Streamline portable manual typewriter. Serial number V865520. Manufactured in September 1936. Rounded black metal frame; four row QWERTY keyboard with red Back Space, Shift Lock and Self Starter pargraph keys. Red paper scale. Paper table and top part of case may have been replaced at some point as table does not display the model name and both are matte as opposed to glossy like the rest of the machine. Name of previous owner scratched on inside edge of frame. Black bonded leather case.
