Vintage 1970s Nike Waffle Racing Flat, also known as the Nike Moon Shoe. Originally Designed by Nike co-founder and Oregon track coach Bill Bowerman, who used his wife's waffle iron to create a prototype sole that offered superior traction on the new, slick urethane tracks. The shoe was used at the 1972 Olympic trials in Eugene, Oregon. One of the most important artifacts in sneaker history.
