Description
Rare pair of two monumental antique Chinese Qing Dynasty palace urns or temple vases, circa 1900s. Made of porcelain featuring chinoiserie Canton Famille Rose and medallion design with ruffled serpentine edge, baluster shaped body, and ornate stands. Each is adorned with elaborate scenes of Geishas, Lily Ponds, and Pagodas with birds, butterflies and floral Chrysanthemum accents set against a gold field. Each vessel is stamped along the underside with Qianlong mark and rests on a traditional stand with scrolled supports.
