A colorful turkish kilim rug runner from the second half of the 20th century. Made from wool in Oushak (western) Turkey. Features a geometric pattern in red, blue orange and beige. Ushaks are flat-woven rugs that are on the thinner side of the rug spectrum. They are softer than other handmade rugs. These types of rugs are more durable than traditional rugs as they are made using natural fibers and dyes. Historically t hey are one of the oldest and finest Oriental carpets.
