Description
Two rare vintage art glass figural head shaped vases, attributed to Hank Adams, Artistic Director at Blenko Glass from 1988-94. One head is crafted of golden topaz glass finished in a rippling wool or fur-like testure, with cobalt blue base and scalloped rim and applied facial features. (Reference Blenko 1994 Catalog - Number 9434 ) The other is a unique adaptation of the standard Adams/Blenko male head vase (Reference 1994 Catalog Number 9435), crafted from cobalt blue glass with semi-realistic features and bared teeth, with red base, rim, applied eyes and Devil horns.
