Description
A rare and impressive Safari themed Bar, Stools and Bar Back by Maitland Smith, circa 1970s. Part of their CoCo Bark Collection. Made from split stone veneer, tessellated travertine stone, mahogany, wicker, brass and iron. The exterior bar portion features brass foot rail, wicker insert, lucky elephant medallion and reeded bun feet. The interior is fitted with mahogany, cast brass bamboo hardware, two outer cabinets, several drawers, removable wine holders and a removable brass trashcan. The bar is accented by two iron swivel bar stools with a rounded back featuring double "S" scrolls and a leather seat. Behind the bar rests the matching barback with additional storage for 25 bottles of wine. It features extraordinary figural brass elephant mounts and two mahogany drawers (one lined with a removable brass insert). Upon opening you will find an illuminated interior fit with a mirror, glassware hangers and a travertine work surface. An exceptional cabinet that will bring warmth and conversation to any setting.
