Italian Neoclassical commode or bedside chest, circa first half 19th century. Made from walnut with 2 hand dovetailed lockable drawers. The table top and drawer fronts feature a beautiful matchbook veneer with banding and inlay. The table is raised over four square tapered legs. Includes polished glass top. A warming addition to any space.

Good antique condition with wear and distressing commensurate with age. Some staining/finish wear to the top. Splitting to the the veneer from age as well as a few missing spots. key escutcheon plate missing on top drawer
