Description

Antique 18th century (Circa 1770s) English George III Worcester 1st period tea bowl or coffee cup and saucer. Made of porcelain featuring the 1st period crescent mark and decorated with the chinoiserie motif known as Fences with an Asian landscape scene with a pagoda house, a fenced in garden and flowers with two large birds / cranes / geese.

Both cup and saucer are marked on the underside with the crescent moon mark used before 1783 during Dr. Wall's period at Worcester.

Condition

Very good antique condition, light wear and distressing commensurate with age and use.
