A monumental late 19th century Cloisonné jardiniere or urn with a lobed melon form body decorated with flowers and cranes on a blue ground, footed and handled with French bronze figures and pierced designs.


This jardinière is a truly exquisite piece of decorative art, composed of contrasting yet complementary elements. The blue cloisonné enamel body was crafted in China, then exported to France, where it was fitted with bronze mounts.
