Vintage six piece Ficks Reed patio set, circa 1970s. Features bamboo and rattan construction with floral upholstery. Includes sofa / couch, coffee table, side table, arm chair and ottoman and sofa table. Coffe table and side table include a lower storage compartment and reeded tops.
The Cincinnati, Ohio-based Ficks Reed Company was founded in 1885 by Louis Ficks. Initially established as the National Carriage and Reed Company, the company produced woven reed and wicker baby carriages before expanding their product line.
Condition
Good overall condition, light wear and distressing commensurate with age and use, sofa table top replaced at some point and is bowing, few small splits to webbing, one small piece missing on ottoman, see pictures.
