Vintage made in England brass sanctuary bell inscribed with animals and their names in Latin: Leo (lion), Aqvila (eagle), Agnvs (lamb), and Pelicanvs (pelican).

In English it means Aguila (The Eagle Symbol of St. John); Agnus (The Lamb symbol of the Lamb of God or St. Agnus); Pelicanus (The Pelican symbol of the Eucharist the sacrifice of the Mass - According to medieval legend, the pelican pierces it's own breast to feed it's young, therefore giving it's life blood to save it's own.
