Golden City / Tower of Babel pencil signed and numbered lithograph print by ILAN Hasson. Circa 1989, Edition 90/400. Ilan Hasson was born on a Moshav in central Israel. He began his artistic career at the age of sixteen,at the Avni art school in Tel Aviv, where he graduated with honors. He continued his studies at the Tel – Chai school of art in the Gallilee. Ilan Hasson's artistic themes are based on Judaikah and influenced by traditional Jewish art and paper craft such as- Ktubas and Jewish books decorations , especially the Passover's Hagada. Themes from the bible, the Talmud and the Kabala are painted in a fantastic and colorful way: The Garden of Eden , Creation , The Tree of Life, Jerusalem City of Peace, The Tower of Babel, are all themes in Ilan Hassons art.
