Description

#21120-HWHL6C

An Exquisite Frederick Cooper table lamp. Mr. Cooper established himself in 1923 specializing in sculptures and paintings. As an architect at the time the newly invented lamp became an article of interest to him that he quickly innovated. Today his lamps are known to some of the most prominent designers and collectors.

This gorgeous example is made from bronze with Meticulous detail. 2 elephants are centered along a floral base. The larger of the two is colorfully dressed with a monkey on his back. Behind the animals two long palm trees cross creating a canopy that casts a fun shadow.

Acquired from the 1883 Benjamin F. Kuhns building in downtown Dayton.
