Antique 97" Jacobean Style Oak Cupboard Carved Relief Romeo Juliet Buffet Hutch

Description

Turn of the century solid oak cupboard finished in white. Heavily carved in high relief with mirrored backsplash. At the center is a Romeo + Juliet scene along the top flanked by 2 wingedserpentson the outer doors. The lower doors feature a floral figural motif. The top steps up with floral trim between two finials. Towards the center you can see that the cabinet supports itself through two urn shaped columns that are each flanked by to drop finials. A magnificent piece that will add character to any space.

Condition

Good Condition - Some Splits in Top Surface and past repairs to finials. Some of the spindles along the face of the top are not perfectly set, ie rotate if messed with. The shelvinghardware is a modern addition with sawtooth supports along the inside. Lower right door is missing a screw on the hinge that allows it to slide a bit when opened.
