A beautiful fanning peacock fireplace screen. Made by Venus, Solid brass from Japan. Circa Mid Century. Each of the screens are pierced or reticulated to allow radiant heat to pass through. At the center is a token with a woman's face on it. This is between ornate tassel work and floral trim. By the handle are 2 figural faces that are pirched on top of a trident. A great piece for any setting.
