A memoir of John Lang Bickersteth, drawn mostly from his journal entries, recalling his life and hardships the Rugby School. The preface to this work indicates that through pressure and mistreatment (or lack of treatment) at school, Bickersteth suffered from failing health, eventually dying. In GOOD condition. Moderate uneven fading to the covers and spine, with minor soiling and scuffing. Extremities bumped frayed and scuffed. Pastedown and first and last free endpapers appear to be missing.
