Description

A raregrandfatherclock by Revere. The Telechron Electric hall clock with 5 tubes releasing a beautiful sound upon chiming. The clock has 2 setting one which appears to be aWestminsterchime, and the other is for silent. The case isindicativeof Mid Century styling with a squared base leading to a slender case and domed top with finial. The case has 2 glass doors. One with diamond patterned fretwork to conceal the chimes and the other to cover the face. Made from Mahogany with gadrooning along the trim and unique medallions. A great piece for any setting.

Condition

The clock is currently chiming, however it is keeping time at a very slow pace. There is some head damage to the case along the left portion of the face which can be seen in the photos
