A beautiful abstract painting by Honora Berg. Signed beneath the paper on the rear side, and dated to 1960. This piece comes from her estate. Honora was active in New York in California between 1897-1985.



She moved from New York to San Francisco in 1951.She studied at the San Francisco Art Institute with David Park, Elmer Bischoff and James Budd Dixon. Honora Berg was a friend of Edith Park Truesdell,( David Parks Aunt) and suggested Berg move to California to further her studies. Berg moved to California in 1951 to study under Park.

Group Exhibitions: 1961 25th Annual Drawing, Print and Sculpture Exhibition at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art.
